Compassion

This month we've learned about compassion. Compassion is something that we feel everyone should use. When people are compassionate we believe that our school is a more peaceful place to learn.

Compassion is going out of your way for someone else. We were compassionate towards substitute teachers in our school this month by being obedient like a dog. We didn't always enjoy what our substitute teachers told us to do but we did it anyway and that made our sub grateful for our cooperation.

Sharing with other people like your family, the elderly, the community, your classmates and your teachers is another way to show compassion. We have written about many examples of how we have shown compassion throughout the month of November in our Living Values Reflection journals.
