Happy New Year

Wishing all of my students , colleagues, and families a happy and healthy 2011. Each new year brings with it the opportunity to start afresh - new goals, new opportunities, and new challenges. This year I resolve to find new ways to make school meaningful for my students. My goal is to create a climate of learning where my students will be continuously challenged and in a constant state of change -- this, I believe, is the one and only constant reality of our world that I can hope to prepare students for in their educational lives outside of my classroom. I want students to realize that they are responsible for their own learning and I am merely here to facilitate that journey.
