- How old is your main character?
- Does he or she have a job?
- Describe three of his or her personality traits.
- Describe three of his or her physical attributes.
- List three things that your character would like to do in his or her free time.
- List three things that your character is strong/competent at (strengths).
- List three things that your character has difficulty with (weaknesses).
- Think of a place where your character might spend a lot of time. This will be the main setting.
- Think of a problem that your character might face.
Now you are ready to start writing. Make sure that your adventure story has a clear beginning, middle, and end!
