Writing Paragraphs

When writing paragraphs it is sometimes tricky to get started. Mrs. Tulloch gave us a paragraph planner to help us build paragraphs. On the page we have to first start off with an indent where we leave one finger space from the margin on the left side of the page. The topic sentence comes first in the paragraph and lets readers know what the paragraph is going to be about. We try to use a good lead so that our readers will want to read on. A good lead hooks readers. Details to support the topic sentence come next and can be written in two or three sentences. The conclusion is the last part of every paragraph and wraps up what you are trying to say!
